UN voices concern for some 300,000 people trapped in Syria
In Syria , 29 militants have been killed in clashes with government troops for the control of Castello road that is the only key supply route into Aleppo city.
The militants are trying to reopen the road which has been tightened by the government forces for the last three days.
Meanwhile, the United Nations has expressed serious concern for the estimated 300,000 people trapped in the city of Aleppo.
A UN spokesperson told reporters in New York today that the heavy fighting has caused damage to schools, hospitals, and other civilian infrastructure and hindered humanitarian aid operations.
