Pakistanâ€š Afghanistan agree to activate Border Management Commission
Both the countries also agreed to improve visa regime for facilitation of genuine travellers.
Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to activate Joint Commission on Border Management.
The understanding came at a meeting between Secretary Interior Shahid Khan and Afghan Senior Deputy Interior Minister General Ayoub Salangi in Kabul.
Issues pertaining to border management‚ visa regime and mutual transfer of prisoners were discussed during the meeting.
The two sides also agreed to work closely with each other to improve visa regime for facilitation of genuine travellers from both the countries.
The Interior Secretary also called on Afghan Interior Minister Mohammad Umer Daudzai. He assured that his Ministry would work closely with Pakistani side for follow-up on the proposals discussed during the visit.
