The AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed has said the government has taken concrete measures to provide better facilities of life to the people of Azad Kashmir without any discrimination.

Addressing a public meeting at Trarkhel in Poonch District on Monday‚ he said the government has launched a number of mega development projects costing billions of rupees in the State‚ which would usher in an era of progress and prosperity for the masses.

He said present government is whole heartedly committed to the socio economic development of the State.

Chaudhry Abdul Majeed said the government has marked the natural resources available in the state to improve the living standard of the people. He said top priority is being given to Hydropower and tourism sectors.

The meeting was addressed among others by Finance Minister Chaudhry Latif Akbar‚ Minister for Education Muhammad Matloob Inqlabi‚ Mian Abdul Waheed‚ Javed Badhanvi and Chairman Public Accounts Committee Sardar Abid Hussain Abid.
