PTI will have to abandon protests for dialogue: Rashid
Information Minister says PTI chief Imran Khan had discontinued the talks.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government was willing to resume dialogue with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf where it was cut off but for that Imran Khan would have to return to his container and stop protests in Faisalabad, Lahore and Karachi.
Talking to media in Islamabad today, he said that the dialogues was discontinued on the direction of Imran Khan. He said at that time when Imran Khan was on the container, Ishaq Dar and Shah Mahmood Qureshi were discussing the ways to come out of the crisis.
He said now Imran Khan should abandon his plan of closing different cities and come on the previous stage to provide a conducive environment for dialogue.
To a question, the Information Minister said that the judicial commission would be constituted and will start functioning when there will be a conducive environment for its functioning and the decisions of the commission will be accepted and not criticised.
