Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has strongly condemned the brutal killing of eight youths by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir. In a statement, he urged the international community to force India to put an immediate end to the ongoing bloodshed of innocent Kashmiris and hold a transparent, free and fair plebiscite under the auspices of UN to ascertain the wishes of Kashmiris.

Senate to celebrate Constitution Day today
The Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, also known as the 1973 Constitution is the supreme law of Pakistan. Drafted by the government of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, with additional assistance from the country's opposition parties, it was approved by the Parliament on 10 April and ratified on 14 August 1973. The Constitution is intended to guide Pakistan's law and its political culture, and system.
