Lt Gen (Retd) Naeem Khan Lodhi (Former Secretary Defense):
"Kulbhushan Yadav was a serving Indian officer who was apprehended by our security forces in Balochistan. His case proceeding was held through Military courts. Pakistan has presented the confessional reports of Kulbhushan Yadav to United Nations. The apprehension of a serving officer with allegation of spying in other country is a serious offense. Pakistan was never bound to present the evidences against Kulbhushan Yadav at any forum. It is a clear message that there will be no compromise on national security."
Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Faaiz Amir (Defense Analyst):
"Kulbhushan Yadav alias Hussain Mubarik Patel himself admitted that he has been working for Indian spy agency and was given the task to sabotage CPEC and creating instability in Pakistan. COAS has confirmed the death sentence of Indian spy agent and now the international community must also realize that Pakistan will not tolerate any deterrence regarding our national interests. Pakistan welcomes the offer of United States to play a mediatory role to resolve Kashmir dispute. At least United States and the world has started realizing that Kashmir is flash point and main cause of Indo-Pak tension and the peaceful solution for this dispute is mandatory for regional peace."
Brig (Retd) Tipu Sultan (Defense Analyst):
"Pakistan could not afford the involvement of any country in efforts to destabilize Pakistan. India has been involved in funding the terrorists to carry out terrorism in Pakistan to undermine Pakistan and we have strong evidences of Indian involvement in our country. The apprehension of Kulbhuan Yadav by our security forces is a great achievement. He confessed that he was involved in killing of many innocent Pakistanis. The military courts have made an exemplary decision."
Dr. Huma Baqai (Expert on World Affairs):
"Pakistan initiated Operation Zarb-e-Azb and Operation Radd-ul-Fasad against terrorists and also established military courts. These courts were established just to deal with cases related to terrorism. COAS Gen Bajwa confirmed the death sentence of Kulbhusan Yadav which is a clear message that Pakistan has zero tolerance against terrorism. Pakistan has faced difficult times in the past as it was labeled as the hub of terrorists. But after the initiation of war against terrorism, the terrorist activities have reduced to a remarkable extent. Although Pakistan wants peace in the region but its wish for peace should not be thought-off as its weakness."
