UNICEF Balochistan confirms presence of polio virus in nullahs
Dr. Jawahir Habib urge parents to get their children vaccinated against fatal diseases.
UNICEF Balochistan has confirmed the presence of polio virus in sewerage system and storm water nullahs in the provincial capital.
Talking to Radio Pakistan Quetta correspondent, UNICEF Balochistan Communication for Development Specialist Dr. Jawahir Habib said that polio virus has been detected in sewerage system drains and nullahs in Quetta and children were at a high risk who were not administered anti-polio drops.
Meanwhile, Government of Balochistan is going to launch anti-polio campaign in Quetta, Qila Abdullah, Pishin and some other districts on Monday.
