Floods in India kill 95

In India, the death toll from floods has been raised to ninety five in states of Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra.

The Kerala State Disaster Management control room said 42 people killed in Kerala state and over 100,000 affected people evacuated.

It said a red alert has been issued for seven out of 14 districts in the state.

The state’s busiest airport Cochin International Airport has been closed since Friday as the taxiway is water-logged.
