The 35th Martyrdom anniversary of prominent Kashmiri freedom leader Muhammad Maqbool Butt will be observed tomorrow on both sides of the Line of Control with the firm determination to continue the struggle till the achievement of right to self-determination.
Muhammad Maqbool Butt was hanged on 11th February 1984 in Tihar Jail of New Delhi and was buried within the premises of the jail.
The day will dawn with special prayers for the early liberation of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and for peace, stability and progress of Pakistan.
Different political and student organizations have chalked out number of programs to pay homage to the great Kashmiri leader for his matchless sacrifice for motherland.
Seminars, rallies and protest demonstrations will be held at different places to press for the return of mortal remains of Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Afazal Guru Shaeed to their motherland for a proper burial.
