In Occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and Chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has urged the international community to build pressure on India to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the prevailing grim situation of the occupied territory.
He said, the international community should wake up and take note of the pain inflicted on the innocent Kashmiris and build pressure on New Delhi to honour the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
Meanwhile, all Sikh sarpanchs and panchs of Pulwama district have tendered their resignations following the killing of a member of the Sikh community by unidentified gunmen in Tral area.
According to the Srinagar-based English daily Greater Kashmir, thirty-five sarpanchs and panchs from the Sikh community have sent their resignations to the deputy commissioner Pulwama.
All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee Chairman, Jagmohan Raina said we want a probe into the matter to bring the killers to book.
