Saudi Arabia rejects prospects for dialogue with Qatar
Saudi Arabia has rejected any dialogue with Qatar, accusing Doha of distorting facts.
The Saudi official news agency made the announcement an hour after reporting a phone call between leaders of the two countries in an attempt to resolve the dispute between Qatar and the quartet of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani had telephoned Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and expressed his desire for initiating talks.
The Emir of Qatar expressed his interest to discuss the demands of the four countries, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt towards ensuring the best interest of all states involved.
