In Occupied Kashmir, people have staged forceful demonstrations in Srinagar, Pulwama and Shopian areas against stepped up Indian state terrorism. 

The protesters shouted pro-Pakistan, pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. They raised Pakistani flags at several places.

Meanwhile, protest strike was observed in Srinagar against the highhandedness of Indian police. 

Senior Hurriyet leader, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, in a statement in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the growing communal activities of extremist Hindu organizations in the held territory.

The Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee organized a function in Srinagar to observe Prisoners' Day, today. Tributes were paid to illegally detained Kashmiris.

The function was chaired by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.  

Meanwhile, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Nayeem Ahmed Khan under house arrest and Muhammad Yasin Malik currently under detention were not even allowed to offer Juma prayers on Friday.
