President stresses strict implementation of legislation regarding Thalassaemia
Mamnoon Hussain urges philanthropists and welfare organizations to contribute in eradication of Thalassaemia disease from the country.
President Mamnoon Hussain has stressed for strict implementation of legislation regarding Thalassaemia done by the provinces for complete elimination of this deadly disease.
He was addressing a function in connection with world thalassaemia day held under the auspices of Pakistan Thalassaemia Centre in Islamabad on Monday.
He urged philanthropists and welfare organizations to contribute in eradication of Thalassemia disease from the country.
The president lauded the services of Pakistan Thalassaemia Centre and said that its braches must be expanded in all parts of the country particularly in the less developed areas.
Mamnoon Hussain said that Pakistan Bait ul Mall is playing due role in providing assistance to the deprived segments of the society.
He said completion of China Pakistan Economic Corridor will open new avenues of progress and development and create new job opportunities.
Addressing the ceremony Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Shaikh Aftab Ahmad Khan said government is committed for the development of the less developed areas of the country and to bring them at par with the developed areas.
