In Syria , at least fifty five Islamic State militants have been killed as a result of shelling north of Aleppo.

Turkish artillery targeted several regions in the province, destroying rocket installations and three vehicles.

In another incident, three civilians were killed in a rocket attack by rebels in Aleppo.

Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused the international coalition battling the Islamic State group in Syria of leaving his country alone to fight the militants on its own soil.                 

Speaking in Istanbul, Erdogan said the border town of Kilis has come under frequent rocket attacks from Syria .
