Govt working on war footings to overcome energy crisis: Muqam
Says federal govt has allocated Rs250 billion for power projects in KP and FATA.
Prime Minister's Adviser Amir Muqam says the PML-N government is working on war footings to overcome energy crisis in the country.
Addressing a news conference in Peshawar on Friday afternoon, he said the federal government has allocated two hundred and fifty billion rupees for power projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.
Amir Muqam said twenty-five billion rupees have been released to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as net hydel profit.
The Adviser said Lowari Tunnel Project will be completed soon at a cost of twenty-seven billion rupees.
Amir Muqam criticized the performance of the PTI-led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for launching no mega project in the province for welfare of people.
