Indian State Terrorism in held valley- Resistance leadership says IOK has been turned into war zone
In occupied Kashmir, the joint resistance leadership says the authorities have turned Kashmir into a war zone on the first death anniversary of popular youth leader, Burhan Wani. The resistance leaders, in a statement in Srinagar says, the paranoia and panic that has gripped the territory on the martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani is an acknowledgment that even his memories are a threat to the regime despite its huge military control.
Trehgam shuts for third consecutive day
In occupied Kashmir complete shutdown was observed in Trehgam area of Kupwara district on the third consecutive day, today, against the highhandedness of Indian army and police. Locals said that forces threw stones on glass panes of a Jamia Masjid when protests had erupted following Friday prayers. Traffic was off the roads and shops remained shut. Indian army officials visited the village market along with vehicles and asked people to let the army pass their cavalcade but locals categorically told them that passage of army would be not be allowed until action was taken against the erring troops.
Sartaj Aziz says Burhan Wani's martyrdom has given new life to the struggle of Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination
In an interview on the occasion of Burhan Wani's martyrdom anniversary, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs says India cannot strangulate the indigenous struggle of Kashmiri people at gun point. India suspended internet and mobile services in the Occupied Kashmir on Wani's martyrdom anniversary, but it could not dilute Kashmiri youth's zeal to mark the sacrifice of their hero. He urges the international community to take notice of the grave human rights violations in the Occupied Kashmir. Sartaj Aziz condemns New Delhi's attempts to alter demography of the Occupied Kashmir by settling Hindus in the valley from other parts of India.
Dal Khalsa urges world to shun criminal silence on Kashmir
Amritsar-based Sikh organization Dal Khalsa has paid glowing tributes to Burhan Wani on his first martyrdom anniversary. In a statement in Amritsar, Dal Khalsa leaders H S Dhami and Kanwar Pal Singh said martyrdom of Burhan Wani has infused a new life in freedom struggle in Occupied Kashmir. They urged the world powers to break their silence,rise above their commercial interests and help the Kashmir's get their right to self determination.
