An amount of 1.17 billion rupees would be spent on upgradation of District Headquarters Hospital Gilgit.

Under the project, eight story building would be completed by the end of 2020.

Medical Superintendent DHQ Hospital Dr. Farmanuaalh said work on Trama center in the hospital is in progress.

On completion of the building, state of the art wards and accommodation facility would be availabale for the patients and staff.
