Dr. Hassan Askari Rizvi (Senior Analyst):

“It is a source of concern for Pakistan that India-US bilateral relations are improving day by day. The Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement (LEMOA) is one of the three major foundational agreements between India and the US according to which the militaries of both these countries could use each other's land, air and naval bases for resupplies, repair and rest. Pakistan should improve its diplomatic policies.”

Air Marshal (Retd) Masood Akhtar (Defense Analyst):

“The Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement between India and United States is dangerous for other countries of the region. India already wants to dominate in the region but it has to face the big challenge of Pakistan. United States is also supporting India’s inclusion into Nuclear Suppliers Group that may destabilize the balance of power in the region. Pakistan needs to activate its lobby in Washington just like India did.”
