Qatar has dismissed the accusations as baseless that it was financing terrorism.

The state news agency quoting a senior foreign ministry source said the State of Qatar's position on terrorism is consistent and known for its rejection and condemnation of all forms of terrorism.

It added that Qatar was ready to cooperate and review all claims that do not contradict its sovereignty.

Meanwhile, British foreign minister, Boris Johnson, has arrived in Saudi Arabia in a bid to ease tension in Gulf.

Britain's foreign office in a statement in London said Johnson will also travel to Qatar and Kuwait for talks with senior figures from both countries.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will travel to Kuwait on Monday on a similar mission.
