Sindh, Punjab Govts directed to complete arrangements for LG polls

The Supreme Court has directed the Sindh and Punjab governments to finalize delimitations and complete arrangements for the local government polls within 30 days.
The directives were issued by a three-member Bench headed by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk while hearing Local Government elections case in Islamabad on Monday.
Counsel for the Punjab government and Additional Advocate General Sindh submitted that the draft amendment bill for Local Government elections had been prepared.
The draft bill will be presented before the respective Provincial Assemblies.
