Pak-China rail link will boost development: Rafique
Pakistan Railways considering restoration of Sibi-Harnai and Quetta-Zahidan Railway tracks.
Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that rail-link between Pakistan and China will usher in a new era of development in the region.
Addressing a meeting in Quetta, he said all available resources will be utilised to ensure improvement of the railways in the country.
The meeting also considered restoration of Sibi-Harnai and Quetta-Zahidan Railway tracks.
The meeting decided to constitute a Joint committee of Balochistan government and Ministry of Railways to settle down the issue of railways lands in Balochistan.
The Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Maalik was also present.
