Imran Khan a hurdle in formation of judicial commission: Pervaiz Rashid
Information Minister says that Imran Khan knows that he does not have evidence to prove his allegations.
Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says the entire nation is passing through agony due to agitational politics of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Sunday, he said Imran Khan admitted in the election tribunal that he suffered head injury and did not remember about the elections 2013.
The information minister said thousands of international election observers observed 2013 elections and declared them fair and transparent. He said even PTI candidates did not raise any objections on polling day.
Pervaiz Rashid said Imran Khan himself is the biggest hurdle in the way of constituting the Judicial Commission to probe the alleged rigging. He said Imran knows that he does not have evidence to prove his allegations.
He said the PTI Chairman has been trying to pressurise courts.
The information minister said Imran Khan has misguided the innocent people by saying that the government was not allowing investigation into rigging in four constituencies.
He said Imran Khan was playing in the hands of external forces.
Pervaiz Rashid said the government will not allow any violence in Faisalabad and the law will take its course. He said schools and markets will open and no one would be allowed to disrupt public life.
Regarding talks, the minister said Imran Khan needs to remain cool-headed and discontinue the politics of sit-ins if he really wants dialogue.
