The 41st and final session of Gilgit-Baltistan legislative Assembly was held in Gilgit on Monday Speaker Wazir Baig presided.

During the proceeding the Assembly unanimously passed two resolutions of condemnation.

In the 1st resolution tabled by member Abdul Hameed Khan, the house demanded stoppage of trafficking of narcotic in Gilgit-Baltistan and demanded to the Government for strict action against drugs traffickers.

In the 2nd resolution presented by member Nawaz Khan Naji, the Assembly condemned killing of JUI (F) leader Dr. Khalid Soomro and Sheikh Muhammad Nawaz and demanded for the arrest of their killers and stern punishment to them.

Replying to a question the Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah said that he has already ordered to the Chief Secretary to provide relief to the people in the wake of reduction of prices of petroleum products.

Later, Speaker adjourned the proceeding on Tuesday at 10:30 am.
