Development of agriculture sector in GB
CM says under the plan 800,000 canal barren lands will be converted into cultivable land in all districts.
The Federal Government has given approval of international Fund for Agriculture Development project costing over fourteen billion rupees for development of Agriculture in Gilgit Baltistan.
Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Hafeez-ur-Rehman while talking to media in Gilgit on Saturday said under the plan 800,000 canal barren lands will be converted into cultivable land in all districts.
He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had announced the project while addressing to a public gathering in Gilgit during his previous visit.
