President for boosting Pakistan-Turkmenistan bilateral relations
Mamnoon Hussain says Pakistan attaches priority to early completion of TAPI gas pipeline project.
President Mamnoon Hussain has called for taking vigorous steps to boost Pakistan-Turkmenistan bilateral relations with a particular focus on further strengthening the trade and investment cooperation.
The President made these remarks in his meeting with Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov in Islamabad.
The President said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the Republic of Turkmenistan and is keen to further underpin its political, trade and commercial ties.
Highlighting the investment potential of Pakistan, the President said Pakistan offers huge opportunities in diverse fields and invited Turkmen investors and entrepreneurs to invest in these sectors.
The President said Pakistan attaches priority to the early completion of Turkmenistan- Afghanistan- Pakistan-India, gas pipeline project.
Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov expressed hope that interaction between the two countries at various levels would help promote the existing partnership between Pakistan and Turkmenistan.
