Pakistan Railways procures 58 locomotives from China: NA told
A Cyber Crime Control Bill has been prepared and submitted to the Cabinet for approval.
The National Assembly has been told that Pakistan Railways is in the process of procuring fifty eight locomotives from China and contract to this effect was signed during the previous government.
Parliamentary Secretary for Railways, Syed Muhammad Ashiq Hussain Shah told the house during question hour that twenty locomotives have already reached in the country and fifteen more will reach by October this year.
Answering a question he said a proposal is under consideration to start online ticketing system.
Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Anusha Rehman informed the House that there is no proposal under consideration of the government to sign a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty with Google and other social media for removal of blasphemous movies.
However, she said a Cyber Crime Control Bill has been prepared and submitted to the Cabinet for approval.
National Assembly session has now been adjourned to meet again on Monday afternoon at five.
