Pakistan Embassy in Libya helping stranded Pakistanis: FO
According to Foreign Office, under directions of the Prime Minister, the Pakistan Embassy in Libya is making all-out efforts to provide relief to the stranded Pakistanis.
Two relief centres have been set up in Tripoli and Benghazi where hundreds of Pakistani nationals desirous of repatriation have been housed. Two injured Pakistanis have been evacuated through Tunisia.
Hectic efforts are also underway to obtain release of any detained Pakistanis in Libya. In all, 83 prisoners have already been released through Embassy’s efforts in the last two days alone. These had been in prison for many months.
