United States says Washington is interested in a settlement that produces peace in Afghanistan.

In an interview in Kabul, US Ambassador in Afghanistan, John R. Bass said US is not engaged in peace talks with the Taliban and that their only redline is that the group has to talk to Afghan government and Afghan people.
