Spokesperson Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Altaf Khan says all the arrangements are being made to hold general elections in the country.

Speaking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel on Tuesday morning, he said ECP staff is focusing sincerely to finalize the arrangements.

Altaf Khan said special focus will be drawn on the facilities especially to disabled persons.

The spokesperson said ECP had sent letters to all Chief Ministers to observe the law and order situation during the upcoming general elections.

Meanwhile, Election Commission of Pakistan has announced the appointment of District Returning Officers, Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers for the next general elections across the country. 

According to ECP, District and Session Judges will be made District Returning Officers. However, in some districts and FATA, the Returning Officers will be taken from the administration due non availability of Judicial Officers.
