In Equatorial Guinea, Thirty people were killed and more than four hundred injured in a series of explosions at a military base in Bata city.

The cause of explosions was stubble burning by farmers and negligence in the storage of dynamite at the base.

All buildings and homes in the city suffered huge damage.
