PM chairs cabinet meeting-Pakistan condemns genocide of Rohingya muslims
Pakistan has condemned the genocide of Rhoingya Muslims. The Federal Cabinet, which met in Islamabad today with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair, passed a resolution to this effect. It said that Pakistan condemns the cold-blooded and callous genocide of innocent Rohingya Muslims, including women, children and even infants under the direct patronage of state institutions of Myanmar. The resolution said that brutal and barbaric acts perpetrated against the unarmed civilian population not only constitute state terrorism, but also question the collective human conscience across nations and societies. These atrocities have also revealed the appalling hypocrisy of the democratic leadership of Myanmar. The resolution called upon Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi to take immediate steps to stop the atrocities being committed in Myanmar where her party is in power. It also called upon the United Nations to take the lead in stopping immediately the genocide of Rohingya Muslims by Myanmar.
Earlier, The United Nations has warned that three hundred thousand more Myanmar's Rohingya Muslims have been forced to flee to Bangladesh. UN agency official also warned of a funding shortfall for emergency food supplies for the refugees. World Food Programme called for donors to meet the shortfall of thirteen million dollars urgently to provide high-energy biscuits and basic rice rations for four months.

We strongly condemn the silence of international community over the brutal genocide of Rohngiya Muslims in Myanmar. OIC and other international organizations must have to take notice of this brutality of Burma forces. International media is also not portraying the true picture of killing of innocent people and even children who have been burnt and killed. The Rohngiya Muslims should be provided safe passage to run for their lives. Bangladesh being a Muslim country is not providing shelters to these refuges. I would like to appreciate the role of Turkey that is doing everything possible to help the Rohngiya Muslims.
