Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif says Pakistan Army under the leadership of General Raheel Sharif is fighting terrorism with great valour and spirit.

Addressing party workers at Muslim League House in Lahore, he said Army officers and soldiers are engaged in the war of survival of Pakistan in North Waziristan.

The Chief Minister said General Raheel Sharif firmly believes in democracy and supremacy of constitution. He said the entire nation stands by Army in purging the country of menace of terrorism.

Shahbaz Sharif thanked Pak Army for launching rescue operations in flood affected areas.

Chief Minister also visited Zafarwal in Narowal district on Sunday and distributed food packages among the flood victims.

Talking to the people on the occasion, he said Punjab Government will not sit in calm until the rehabilitation of last victim of floods. He assured that the government will not leave the flood-affected people alone.
