Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has categorically rejected allegations of Pakistan's interference in Afghanistan.

Talking to newsmen in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, he said Pakistan never interfered in the internal affairs of Afghanistan and will never do so in future as well.

The Information Minister said Afghanistan needs to utilize the diplomatic forum instead of the media if it has any complaint.

He said Pakistan will not allow its soil to be used for terrorism against any country.  He said Pakistan is taking all possible measures to weed out terrorism from the country.

Referring to election campaign in NA-122, Pervaiz Rashid said PML (N) believes in politics of decency and asked PTI chief Imran Khan to avoid use of un-parliamentary language.

To a question, Information Minister said the management has taken all the steps to ensure all the PIA flights on time and no Haj flights has so far been affected.

To a question, Pervaiz Rashid said that the Government has provided bailout package worth sixteen billion rupees to Pakistan Steel Mills. He said privatization policy of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will provide employment opportunities to the people and reduce the burden of financial losses on the exchequer of the government.

Earlier, addressing a function in connection with World Tourism Day in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, the Information Minister emphasised for making joint efforts by the federal and provincial governments to promote tourism in the country.

The Information Minister said implementation of communication infrastructure projects, including metro bus service, is helping promote tourism.

Defeat evident from Imran Khan's face, gestures: Info Minister

Meanwhile, in a statement, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that defeat was evident from Imran Khan's face and gestures.

The Information Minister said defectors of PPP and PML-Q are contesting elections from the platform of PTI. He said Imran Khan cannot give up his habit of telling lies.

He said we are taking loan to pay debts of previous governments.

The Minister said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif paid four million tax this year, but how much tax was paid by those who live in a house of 300 kanals.

Pervaiz Rashid said Imran Khan's castigates development projects more than he criticizes Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He said Imran Khan has not become convinced that he has no role in Pakistani politics.
