Says elements involved in insurgency are surrendering which is a good sign for peace and development in the province.
President Mamnoon Hussain says Balochistan would be major beneficiary of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
Talking to newsmen in Quetta, he said this mega project will also provide benefit to Central Asian countries.
He said the CPEC includes several mega projects including Gwadar Deep Sea Port, Motorways and power generation projects which would create a lot of jobs for the people.
Mamnoon Hussain said the friendly countries including China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Central Asian states are offering financial assistance for development projects in Pakistan.He said ten thousand MW electricity would be added in the national grid in next two years.
The President was apprised that the route of CPEC has not been changed and motorways would be constructed whereever required.
He said a division of Pak Army has been deployed for the protection of CPEC project workers.
