Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that despite limited resources, all possible measures will be taken to ensure a safe railway journey .

Presiding over a meeting at the Railways Headquarters in Lahore on Monday, he said that no compromise will be made on train safety.

He said that the Pakistan railway attaches top priority to the protection of the lives of the passengers.       

The Secretary Railways and PR Chief Executive Officer were present in the meeting during which the mutual consultation was made between the officers of the railways ministry and PR headquarters to formulate an effective policy to prevent railway accidents.
