Misbah’s replacement not decided yet by PCB

Chairman PCB Shaharyar said that a successor hasn’t been decided yet. He said we haven’t decided who will lead the Test side once Misbah steps down . Shaharyar said if the upcoming tours in Australia and New Zealand go well then we can even ask Misbah to continue leading the side for a while. He further added Misbah and Younus Khan have been performing well for Pakistan and are in contention to remain in the side. However, they are nearing their retirements and for the future of the team we must make preparations from now.

Indian MPs invited by Pirzada to play Cricket, Rugby with Pakistani counterparts

Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada invited the Indian members of the Parliament (MPs) to play cricket and rugby matches with their Pakistani counterparts. Australia beat Pakistan to win Sultan of Johur Hockey Cup in Malaysia

Australia defeated Pakistan by 3 1 in the final of the Sultan of Johor Cup Under 21 Hockey played in Johor Bahru (Malaysia) yesterday. Just two day earlier, Australia beaten Pakistan Juniors by 8 1 in the round robin but in the final the green shirts teamed up well by producing good show and took second position behind Australia.

5-member Pak contingent to participate in Weightlifting Championship

The Master Ranking Table Tennis Cup will be played in Multan from November 10. The tournament is being organized by Pakistan Table Tennis Association and Punjab Table Tennis Association. According to Punjab Table Tennis Association President Shahid Balouch, all the preparations for the tournament has been finalized.

A five-member Pakistan contingent will be flying to Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday to participate in the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championship scheduled to be held from November 8 to 15. Pakistan Weightlifting Federation (PWF) vice- president said Muhammad Rashid Malik said as many as nineteen countries will participate in the championship including Pakistan, Japan, Korea, Iran, Uzbekistan and China.
