Govt working on policies to attract foreign traders: Shahbaz
Chief Executives of foreign companies and their Pakistani counterparts sign 158 MoUs.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that PML (N) government is working on policies to attract foreign traders for providing job opportunities to the people living in Punjab.
He was addressing, concluding session of a two-day international seminar on business opportunities in Punjab.
The Chief Minister said the seminar provided an opportunity to show tremendous potential of investment in the province.
During the two-day session one hundred fifty eight MoUs were signed between the Chief Executives of foreign companies and their Pakistani counterparts.
These MoUs relate to different sectors including housing, agriculture, industrial sectors, transport and infrastructure.
Addressing a function in connection with Turkish National Day in Lahore Punjab Chief Minister welcomed Turkish investment in the province.
He said signing of one hundred and forty eight agreements between Pakistan and Turkey indicates unprecedented bilateral friendship.
