Country’s economy has improved: Analysts
Analysts say country’s economy is improving due to sagacious policies of present government.
Speaking in Radio Pakistan’s Nuqta-e-Nazar program, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Dr. Musadik Malik said: “Better foreign policy and economic revival of our country is an achievement of present government. Our foreign reserves have been steadily improving. Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has facilitated the nation by reducing petroleum prices significantly over the course of a last few months. Visits of heads of state of different countries and signing of development projects in Pakistan will definitely improve the economy of the country. PM has been taking personal interest in bringing foreign investments into our country. Ongoing operation against militants in the country has improved the law and order situation in Pakistan. Government’s pragmatic policies have increased the confidence of international community on Pakistan. All political parties should support the government in this regard.”
Expert International Affairs Dr. Huma Baqai said: “The world has appreciated the efforts of Pakistan to eradicate terrorism from the country. But, India has been involved in heinous efforts to destabilize Pakistan by continuously violating LoC and Working Boundary. Pakistan has shown that its political and military leadership is on same page against the menace of terrorism and overcoming the internal challenges. There have been solid proofs of Indian involvement in Baloch insurgency. Pakistan wants to improve its bilateral relations with India, but it is New Delhi that is not reciprocating these efforts.”
Expert Strategic Affairs Air Marshal (Retd.) Shahid Latif said: “No doubt, hidden hands are involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan but we need to expose these. Indian spy agency RAW is in trouble over the successes achieved by Pakistan Army in Operation Zarb-e-Azb and has intensified its efforts to sabotage these achievements. In the Corps Commander Conference and the statement issued by Foreign Office indicates that government is serious in taking this matter with Indian government. India wants to malign Pakistan by leveling unfounded allegations against Islamabad. ”
Economic analyst Dr. Murtaza Mughal said: “Foreign investment has been increasing and economy is improving due to sagacious policies of PML-N government. Government is committed to improve law and order situation and overcoming the energy shortage. All political parties should support government’s efforts in this regard and should think above politics. The economic revival will benefit the whole nation.”
