Rumman Raees savours Champions Trophy Opportunity- Injured Wahab Riaz ruled out of Champions Trophy

Pakistan have called up left-arm pacer Rumman Raees to replace injured Wahab Riaz, and the 25-year-old is ready to make the opportunity count when he joins the team in England for the Champions Trophy. Wahab injured his right ankle while bowling against India in Pakistan’s first match.

Plan in place to send Judokas to Hungary

In the aftermath of Pakistani judokas’ sub-par showing at the Asian Senior Judo Championships in Hong Kong, Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) has decided to send its athletes to Hungary for training. In particular, Shah’s -100kg semi-final defeat to South Korea’s Kim Hyeoncheol and another in the fight for third place at the hands of Mongolia’s Janchivdorj Bunddorj were major disappointments for PJF Vice-President Masood Ahmed.

SNOOKER- Asian Team and 6 Red Snooker Championship will be played in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan from 28th of this month. Babar Masih, Muhammad Sajjad, Asjad Iqbal and Muhammad Bilal will represent Pakistan in the event.

SWIMMING- Pakistan Swimming team is participating in the 17th FINA World Swimming Championship scheduled to be held at Budapest, Hungary from 13th to 31st July, 2017.

TAEKWONDO- Pakistan Taekwondo team is participating in the WTF World Taekwondo Championship scheduled to be held at Muju, Korea from 22nd June to 1st July, 2017.
