Govt believes in supremacy of law, democracy: PML-N leaders
PML-N leaders say Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family have not raised objection over the proceedings of Joint Investigation Team, and allegations in this regard are totally baseless.
Addressing a news conference along with Senator Mushahidullah Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday evening, Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said we believe in supremacy of law and democracy.
Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said Hussain Nawaz despite living abroad appeared before the JIT for four times and all evidences have been submitted.
Senator Mushahidullah Khan said for the first time in the history of the country, a Prime Minister himself and his family presented themselves for accountability.
He said leakage of Hussain Nawaz's photograph show some ulterior motives.
Mushahidullah Khan said PML-N made efforts for the independence of the judiciary and expects justice from the apex court in this case.
He said the institution of accountability has been closed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and PTI government has miserably failed to deliver in the province.
