Pakistan wants lasting peace in Afghanistan for regional security
PM Nawaz Sharif addresses Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan summit in Dushanbe.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is committed to modernize facilities for speedy transit of goods to and from Afghanistan and Tajikistan through Pakistani seaports.
Addressing Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan summit in Dushanbe, he emphasized on early finalization of Trilateral Transit Trade Agreement to streamline regional transit traffic.
The Prime Minister welcomed Tajik leader's proposal for establishment of a Tripartite Ministerial Commission to strengthen trilateral cooperation in political, economic and social spheres.
He said Pakistan wants lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan for regional security and prosperity.
