Pakistan's Tarar re-elected vice chair of UNEP's permanent representatives body
Pakistan's Raza Bashir Tarar has unanimously been reelected as Vice Chair of the Permanent Representatives in a meeting of CPR in Nairobi.
Raza Bashir Tarar is Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Environment Programme and will act as vice chair of the CPR for two years.
The election is a manifestation of the trust reposed in Pakistan by the Members of Asia Pacific Group and reflects Pakistan's commitment to environmental issues.
Ambassador Tarar also currently holds the Chair of G77 and China, Nairobi Chapter.
