Jan Achakzai (Leader, PML-N):
The incumbent government is determined and making all out efforts to overcome power shortage. It is the vision of Prime Minister to make Pakistan a load-shedding free country. He himself is monitoring the development on all the underway power projects and has directed the concerned authorities to ensure the timely completion of all these power projects. We are hopeful that almost 4000MW more electricity will be added in National Grid Station till March 2018.
Maiza Hameed (Leader, PML-N):
I would like to emphasize that after the 18th amendment the provinces were responsible to produce electricity from their own funds. CM Punjab has utilized the allocated funds for power projects and at this time many power projects initiated by Punjab government have been completed and many other will also be completed soon. KPK and Sindh government have not even produced single MW electricity in their provinces. Load-shedding was at its peak when PML-N came into power. But now load-shedding has reduced to a great extent and will be completely eliminated till 2018. The provinces should also devise policies to stop power theft as well.
Qaisar Ahmed Sheikh (Leader, PML-N):
I would like to appreciate the efforts of Prime Minister and Punjab government for sincere efforts to overcome energy crises. Prime Minister is determined to bring the country out of darkness by all means. We have strong believes that Pakistan will be load-shedding free country till 2018.

Abdullah Gul (Defense Analyst):
The incumbent government has managed to strengthen its relations with Russia and China. It is a policy shift that COAS stated that Pakistan has done enough against terrorism and now it is American turn to do more for Pakistan. The political and military delegations visited Afghanistan and held meetings with Afghan leadership to normalize the prevailing tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan but Afghan government being under the strong influence of India responded negatively. International community must realize that Pakistan has provided the shelters to over three million Afghan refugees and is in state of war against terrorism.
