Minister for Kashmir Affairs Chaudhry Barjees Tahir has appealed to the international community and the United Nations to take immediate steps to stop atrocities being committed by Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.

In a statement in connection with Martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani shaheed, he said international community cannot remain idle on perpetual persecution in occupied territory.

The Minister said Burhan Wani infused a new spirit in the struggle of Kashmiris for their right to self-determination.

He said use of chemical weapons by India in occupied Kashmir is very dangerous and serious matter and UN should take notice of this.
