Rs 313 mln being spent on various projects
The projects are aimed at providing assistance to the working women of the province.
The Sindh Women Development Department is spending more than 313 million rupees in the current financial year on the schemes aimed at to provide facilities and assistance to the women of the province.
The sources of the department told our Karachi representative that the department is establishing Women Development Complexes at Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Benazirabad, Thatta and Larkana to provide assistance and facilities to the women of these areas.
The department is also establishing Women Complaint Cells at Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana and Shaheed Benazirabad to provide aid to the women in distress.
To facilitate the working women, the Women Development Department is establishing working women hostels in Karachi and Shaheed Benazirabad while day care centres will also be established with three Daycare Centres in Karachi and one each in all divisional headquarters.
