Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif says the government has taken revolutionary steps for ensuring provision of education in the province.  

In a statement issued on Friday, he said the government will achieve the target of 100 per cent admissions in schools by next year.

Shahbaz Sharif said basic facilities have been provided in fifty-two thousand schools at the cost of forty billion rupees and sixteen billion rupees have been spent on reconstruction of school buildings.
