Basit terms settlement of Kashmir dispute vital for regional peace
says India has badly failed to isolate Pakistan on world stage.
Pakistan's High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit has said that resolution of Kashmir dispute is imperative for lasting peace and stability in South Asia.
Talking to an Indian news channel on Friday, he said peace talks between the two countries will be meaningless without the inclusion of longstanding issue of Kashmir.
Abdul Basit said Pakistan has adopted zero tolerance policy against terrorism and India badly failed to isolate Pakistan on world stage.
To a question, he said terrorism is a regional issue and Pakistan has taken several important steps more than any other country in the region to curb it.
