Second phase of Prime Minister's Youth Skill Development Programme (PMYSDP) is to be launched soon expanding its coverage to include Madaris graduates as well.

The programmed aimed at training unemployed youth of Pakistan for acquiring productive skills for gainful employment.

A spokesman of the PM's Youth Development Programme told Radio Pakistan's correspondent that over 100 demand-driven trades will be offered for training in the coming phase.

Madaris graduates with certificates or diploma equivalent to Metric will also be eligible to apply under the scheme.

About twenty-two thousand students have graduated in the first phase of the programme.
