Complete strike will be held tomorrow to mark martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani in IOJ&K

In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed, tomorrow (Wednesday), to mark the fourth martyrdom anniversary of Kashmiri youth leader, Burhan Muzaffar Wani and his two associates, who were martyred by Indian troops on 8th of July in 2016.

Call for the strike has been given by the veteran Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani and the All Parties Hurriyat Conference.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar paid rich tributes to Burhan Wani and the martyrs.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference while paying tributes to Burhan Wani in a statement said that the 8th of July would be observed as Youm–e-Istiqlal to reiterate the Kashmiris’ resolve that they will continue their struggle for right to self-determination through thick and thin.

Hurriyat leaders and organizations while paying glowing tributes to the Kahsmiri youth leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani and his associates on their fourth martyrdom anniversary have called on people to follow the protest programme.

Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Siddiqui in a statement issued in Srinagar said, martyr Burhan Wani symbolizes the unrelenting resistance of Kashmiri people who are waging a struggle for right to self-determination for more than past seven decades.

Meanwhile, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district, today (Tuesday).

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Goosu village of the district.

Meanwhile, India lost its three army personnel including an officer in one single day, today (Tuesday), with two soldiers committing suicide while the officer falling victim to the firing of one of the two soldiers before he took his life in Kulgam and Kupwara districts.

Moreover, an Indian army soldier was also killed and three others were injured in an attack in Pulwama district.

On the other hand, the Pairwaan-e-Wilayat at a meeting in Srinagar said that India is engaged in advancing a nefarious agenda to convert the Muslim majority character of Jammu and Kashmir into a minority by settling outsiders in the territory.
