Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has assured to resolve the problems of media in consultation with owners and workers of media.

Talking to a private TV channel, the minister also dispelled the impression that Prime Minister Imran Khan was against the media and said media played vital role in changing people's minds in favor of government and the ruling party.

Shibli Faraz said the government has no intention to control the independent media.

To a question, he said those involved in massive corruption and who have looted national wealth mercilessly will be brought to justice.

He said opposition was criticising the government just for political point scoring.
